What does United Building Depot sell?
We are a one-stop building materials supplier in Ontario. Departments include custom kitchens, countertops, flooring, window coverings, stair supply, bathroom materials, doors and baseboard hardware, home automation, paint, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, HVAC, home windows, entry doors, garage doors, patio doors and roofing.
Why are there no prices on the website?
Most of what we sell is custom-sized, bundled or priced by project (a kitchen, a set of windows, a full floor). Instead of guessing, select products in our flyer and click “Ask for Price”. You receive accurate pricing, availability and delivery options from a real person — usually within one business day.
How does “Ask for Price” work?
Open a department flyer, tap the products you are interested in (a tick appears), then click “Ask for Price”. Fill in your name, phone, email, postal code, what you need and when. We email you a confirmation immediately and our executive calls you to discuss your requirement.
Do you serve homeowners or only contractors?
Both. Homeowners, landlords, renovators, installers, builders and property managers all buy from us at wholesale-style pricing. Trade professionals can join our free Contractor & Trade Program for volume pricing and a dedicated rep.
Where do you deliver?
Across the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Hamilton, Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa) with freight shipping to most of Ontario including Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Barrie, Niagara and Ottawa.
Do you design and install custom kitchens?
Yes. We design L-shaped, U-shaped, galley, island, peninsula and single-wall kitchens with 3D drawings, supply cabinets, countertops, sinks, faucets and hardware, and arrange professional installation.
Do you install flooring, windows, doors, roofing and HVAC?
Yes. We arrange licensed, insured installers for flooring, countertops, windows, entry, patio and garage doors, roofing, furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps across the GTA. Materials and labour come on one quote.
Can I see samples before I order?
Yes — visit our showroom during business hours to see countertop slabs, flooring, doors, vanities, blinds and more. You can also request samples of flooring and countertops with your quote.
Are your HVAC and heating products rebate eligible?
Many furnaces, heat pumps, smart thermostats and windows qualify for Ontario and federal energy rebates when programs are running. Ask us when you request a quote and we will point you to eligible models.
How long does a quote take?
Most quotes are returned within one business day. Custom kitchens and large window or door orders may take a little longer because we confirm measurements first.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Interac e-Transfer, debit and cash in-store. Payment terms for contractors are available on approved trade accounts.
Can I return a product?
Unopened stock items can be returned within 14 days with a receipt (restocking fee may apply). Custom-made products such as kitchens, countertops, windows, doors and blinds are made to your measurements and are final sale.
Do you offer a warranty?
Every product carries its manufacturer’s warranty, and installation arranged through us is covered by the installer’s workmanship warranty. See our Warranty & Returns page for details.
How do I delete my account or personal data?
Use the Account & Data Deletion form on our website or contact us. We confirm by email once your data is removed, usually within 7 business days.
