Manufacturer warranties
Every product we sell carries its manufacturer’s warranty — from 1 year on accessories to limited-lifetime coverage on many windows, doors, shingles and quartz countertops. The warranty terms are listed on your quote and invoice. Keep your invoice: it is your proof of purchase for any claim.
How to make a warranty claim
- Email us photos of the issue, your invoice number and the product name.
- We open the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf and keep you updated.
- Approved claims are resolved by repair, replacement or credit according to the manufacturer’s policy.
Installation workmanship
Installation arranged through United Building Depot is covered by a written workmanship warranty from the installer (typically 1–2 years). Details are included in your installation agreement.
Returns
Unopened, resalable stock items may be returned within 14 days with the original invoice; a restocking fee may apply. Flooring and tile must be returned in full, unopened cartons. Custom-made and special-order products — kitchens, countertops, windows, doors, blinds, cut-to-size materials — cannot be returned. Clearance items are final sale.
Damaged or missing items
Check your delivery on arrival. Report visible damage on the delivery slip and concealed damage within 48 hours and we will replace the item at no charge.
